AI image generation is the technology that produces new images from a text description or reference image using a trained generative AI model. It commonly relies on diffusion models trained on large image-text datasets, letting users specify the desired scene, style, and composition through a prompt.

In marketing work, it is used to quickly produce visual content such as ad banners, social media posts, and product images without a photo shoot or a designer. Newer models can also render legible text within an image, including Korean and other languages, which widens its use for posters and infographics.

That said, fine detail accuracy, distorted hands or text, brand consistency, and copyright or likeness rights still require review. Output quality depends heavily on how specific the prompt is, so results are typically checked and refined by a person.
