Brand Kit
A brand kit is a reusable collection of a brand's core visual and verbal elements — logo, color palette, fonts, and tone of voice — kept in one place for consistent use.
A brand kit is a curated set of the core elements needed to present a brand consistently: logo, color palette, typography, tone of voice (preferred and prohibited wording), and the brand name and identity statement. It is essentially a condensed, working version of a brand's style guidelines.
Its main purpose is consistency. When several people produce content across multiple channels, a shared brand kit lets them reuse the same colors, logo, and voice so the brand stays coherent. It also speeds up production, since teams no longer re-decide color codes or writing style each time.
In AI marketing tools, a brand kit is often generated automatically — for example, by extracting colors, logo, and tone from a website URL — and then applied to the images and copy the tool produces. Automatically extracted results are best reviewed and refined by a person before use.
